Safeguarding

Safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility!

The aim of The Small Schools Multi Academy Trust’s Safeguarding Policy is to ensure that our schools have effective measures in place to safeguard children from the potential risk of harm and that the safety and wellbeing of the children are of the highest priority in all aspects of The Small Schools Multi Academy Trust’s work. The Academy Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mr Paul Lovern (Executive Head), however in each school there is a Designated Safeguarding Lead and a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. The Director with responsibility for Pupil Care which includes safeguarding is Mrs Melanie Havelock-Crozier.

We have also listed some other useful safeguarding related documents below, but if you do need more information or have any concerns about the safety of a child, please contact the First Response Team on 0800-131 3126 or  0845 604 2886 for the Emergency Duty Team (out of hours referrals for children).
